Sascron appoints Aston Barclay as its remarketing partner

Sascron Car Supermarkets has appointed Aston Barclay as its new remarketing partner.

The family-run business with sites in Aldermaston near Reading and Thatcham in Berkshire will be launching the partnership at Aston Barclay Chelmsford’s dealer sale on 19 April.

One hundred cars will go under the hammer as part of its inaugural sale with total Sascron volumes going through Chelmsford expected to hit the 1,000-mark during 2021.

Sascron offers a diverse range of used cars costing between £5,000 and £100,000 through its two sites which generate a huge variety of part exchanges.

“We are a family company who have built our business up since the 1990s through a combination of reliability, quality and honesty. It was good to find a remarketing partner that mirrors these values,” explained Kim Chodha, owner of Berkshire-based dealer Sascron.

“Chelmsford’s dealer sale is very established and with our first sale coinciding with Aston Barclay’s announcement to sell part exchanges physically again we are looking forward to our launch,” he added.

Martin Potter, Aston Barclay’s Managing Director – Customer said: “Sascron has a strong following and from the look of the initial launch sale stock we will be able to provide a great mix of used cars into our Chelmsford sale each week.”
